You see, I've probably had more experienced than ALL of you here. This is because private servers and myself go way back.

Some of you may not know this, but I have in fact been incorporated with 1 too many private servers. However, I never did make money from this.

I never thought that I would need money on the internet until now. You see, I use to have a lot of respect thrown towards at me in the private server world, this all ended when I began to learn java.

Lots of you know that I've met Travis a while back, actually, I've known him longer than almost all my staff members.

Travis and I were just staff friends, as in, if we weren't staff on the same server, probably never would even spoken to each other.

I got my hands on PK X Scape, which was, in my eyes, one of the most organized and populated Czar server that was ran on a LAPTOP, yet.

The owner of PK X Scape is now a programmer for my server, forum designer, and of course, man whore.

The co owner of PK X Scape has been sucked in by Xbox Live and no longer deals with anything RSPS related.

However, this was more than 2 years ago.


Later on, another friend of mine that I met on PK X Scape, wanted to player Deltascape with me. Now you see, Deltascape was VERY different back then. I played when the home was in Rimmington, and when they had summoning introduced. Soon enough, I left.

I actually caught up with PK X Scape and continue making PK videos, I actually gained 500+ views on each video that I made, which was a huge contribution and was the only reason why I gained mod.

Tommy, some of you may know him, some of you may not, and I, later on dosed off into other activities. My history of RSPS became blank from this point on. That was until.. Travis (or Bobby Bob1) at the time, messaged me that he was making a private server.

Now here's to clear up some things-

I only played for a while and got myself auto-admin.

Now this is still 1 1/2 years , or close enough to 2 years ago.

This is when I decided I should take some time off, and play Runescape. Bad choice. You see, I consider myself a Sony Vegas pro., you might think I'm bragging, but I'm really not. There's only 3 things that I'm good at: getting guys, skating, and Sony Vegas, that's it.

Now I really thought these videos would get me 1000's of subscribers, I was wrong, I never gotten 100 subscribers and I probably never will.

A year later;

A year has passed and I have forced Travis to start V9. This is really the only thing I've ever done that has made a huge difference on the server. Travis was actually really no help at all at the time and I began to advise him to reset his players and start with version 9.

He did what I said and a month later, I left.

Now this is already 2008 Winter, I'm going to skip all the way to May.

In May, I regained my position, but I realized this wasn't going well, and I was browsing through my MSN list and noticed someone's details say: VOTE FOR ME ON removed. BLAH BLAH BLAH. So I clicked it, and saw a potential server. It had 10 players, but the owner was one of a kind.

His name is Andrew, and he's 13, he's friends with Jinrake, PVP Planet Owner, who later helps him make Crazy-PKZ successful.

He had the money for a dedi, he had the money for a website, he had everything. So I sexed up his forums, made a better client, and was admin straightaway.

Now let me tell you, Crazy-Pkz didn't begin until May 10. Little did I know that I would soon be the next co owner.

I'm going to stop with my RSPS life here and now tell you what I do toda.

I code a project called infpk with only 25 players max, and runs on a 3gb 24/7 VPS, I paid for everything and the PK X Scape owner is helping me.

Now here's my question-

Why do you play RSPS? From my personal experience, I believe RSPS is a waste, some disagree, which I understand. But if you think about it carefully, RS has just about as much chance than RSPS in shutting down. However, that's the problem. You spent 10 hrs a day on your beloved goals on SilabGarza. The next day, Travis has funding problems, and the server shuts down, what's your plan B? Do you realize that you just wasted your life?

Discuss, criticize, and of course -facepalm- laugh at the username Bobby Bob1.

btw, i backup my server onto my laptop every so often (usualy after a big update)

Travis usually has a plan b, but he rarely shares it with anyone. The server won't be going down for a long time.
