Debating Section.

I think that Gir should incorporate a Debating Section. In this Debating Section, only Veterans, Moderators, Admins, and Gir, may post new Threads. But everyone is allowed to participate in the Debate. There will be weekly topics to debate off of. In this section, light flaming is allowed. No swearing. No nonsense. All your posts must be developped, or your post will be removed.

Every thread that will be made in this section, will include the Topic of wich will be up for debate, and a little background information. This background information will include positive facts and negative facts. The poster is not allowed to give his opinion on his/her first post. He is though, allowed to post his opinion later on during the debate.

To make a post on this thread. You must state what side you are taking a part of. The Pro's or the Con's. Then you must post a chunky paragraph of which you will back up your Pro's/Con's.

The threads/topics created in the debate section do not have to particularly has to have liens with RuneScape/SilGar. You may make a Topic about anything of you wish. You may not, however, make a thread about something that has already been proved. For example you may not post a thread with the topic: The Sky is Blue. There is nothing to debate about with this topic. It is known fact that the sky is indeed blue.

A proper Topic would be something, that you can dig deeper into. Something that has not been proved, and can be debated upon. NO POLLS IN THE DEBATING TOPICS.

Please post why/why not we should make a Debating Thread. I will not make a poll because I would like for you to elaborate and explain why you think we should/shouldn't make a Debating Board.
