Okay so everyone knows about the dreaded server reset that happens about once an hour. people lose there items if the die right before the reset. you lose exp if you have just gained any right before the reset.

I was thinking could there be a countdown timer like the system update timer to warn people if they should be pking atm and risk all there items, or if the runecrafters should make that last trip to the abyss only to lose precious time.

could that be a possibility?

Rofl, I don't think they have specific times, It's like a server restart or roll-back because of an error or problem encountered.

The reset is every 60 minutes, he more than likely uses Volue reseter. And yes it is possible to set a timer to this, but it would be better to just learn what part of the hour it resets..

like :30 or :14 or anything like that. But yeh its 60mins not random.
