A lot of people have been experiencing this problem.


But instead of it being temporary, it has been a permanent thing that has lasted many hours/days/weeks. I myself was suffering from this problem and I would like to share a few methods I found useful when solving this issue.

Method 1 - Router Restart

This method is very basic and requires little effort or technical knowledge.

Step 1

Locate the power cable in the back of your router which is usually in this position.


Step 2

After doing this unplug that cable and leave your router off for several minutes. I recommend around 3 - 5 for best results.

Step 3

Next plug the cable back in to your router and allow it to fully reboot before making a connection to it.

Step 4

Now just try and login and if your problem is not fixed please try the further methods.

Method 2 - Ip Flush

This is a slightly more complicated method but should be easy for someone who knows a bit about computers.

Step 1

Go to your start menu located at the very bottom left of your screen then follow this simple video to reach your CMD or Command Prompt (for users who know where it is skip to step 2).

Step 2

Type this into your CMD.

ipconfig /release

Then press enter.

Now type in.

ipconfig /renew

Now allow it to reconnect to your network.

Step 3

Once you have fully reconnected attempt to login again and if it's still not successful please try later methods.

Method 3 - Another Network Source (Skip if none are available)

This is simple connecting your computer/laptop to another available network.

For computer

Simply plug in your ethernet cable to another network router in your house.

For Iphone users

Users of the Iphones more later models such as the 3G, 4 and 4S have the advantage of being able to use a 'Personal Hotspot' from their phone. This is usually located in the settings. For iphone 4 it is on the first setting page in the first group of options. For the 4S it is located in Settings - General - Network - Personal Hotspot. I don’t know but i assume the 3G will be similar to either of those.

After enabling this simply connect to your hotspot via the iphone usb cable or via wireless.

For laptops

You can follow the same steps as the computer if you are using an ethernet cable. If you are using wireless simple load up your list of nearby wireless sources and select the one you have access to.

Is there a chance you can try another computer to somewhere to check if it is your account that's having the problem and not your network/pc?

I might go searching for a new modem/router later, which one do you suggest i look for?

Personally i prefer Belkin Routers so id reccomend you doing this http://www.belkin.com/router-picker/

Its like a questionaire you fill out and they help choose a router that best suits you.

I left my router and computer off for about 30 mins while i did some homework, flushed my ip, and still saying im temp ip banned D:

Not sure what else to suggest then. The steps above fixed my problem. Maybe someone else might have some idea what else could be the problem. Sorry i couldnt be more help
