K so, My itunes hasn't been working for months and i really can't handle not being able to put new music on my iphone.

So is there any other program that this could be done with? Or does Apple have a special agreement with Itunes and they're only synced together?

Nono.. That's not what i meant, Sorry, I should of been more clear.


I use Frostwire. My Itunes just isn't working, At all. It wont open or anything, I've tried redownloading it, Resetting my laptop back to when it worked, And downloading older versions. I have no problem with downloading music, My Itunes just wont function at all.

So i'm asking if there's another program that can transfer my songs from my laptop to my iphone, That is like Itunes, That i can replace Itunes with.

Well, two things. 1. Why hasn't your iTunes been working? Someone could probably get it fixed for you so that you can start to put music onto your iPod. 2. There's Media Monkey, J. River Media Center, WinAmp, Real Player, Yahoo Music Manager, EphPod, Yamipod, Anapod and I believe there's a plugin somewhere to use Windows Media Player. Not to mention that if you want to change firmware, there's Rockbox and iPod Linux. Also, not all of those programs but by far, iTunes is the best program to use when it comes to music managing on your iPod. I'm not exactly sure as to how those other programs run seeing how I've never used them but I'm sure they're not difficult.

Mines acting up also, it randomly can't find any of my music and it has about 300 different songs that i never had.

I'm not quite sure why it hasn't been working, I double click on it and the loading mouse comes up, Yet it never opens. I have googled it and many other people have been having the same problem, Yet none seem to get it to work. I also searched the Itunes help, Did what it said exactly, Yet nothing still.

Reinstall your iTunes, I would say that it isn't responding..

Go into Windows Task Manager> Processes> Double click iTunes> See if there is any program that says "iTunes.exe" or something, if it has that there then the program is working fine except it doesn't show up.

I'm not a pro, but try trouble shooting it or running it as Administrator.

get BearShare I strongly recommend it though theres not app store but this has usually free music some are like $2 but it has an equipped Itunes spot where u can make playlists so maybe dragging the songs from frostwire to ur ipod will work
